Recently I had to reset my old (2013) Macbook Pro and reinstalled the OS on it. After the last step - installing the latest update 'blur' - I thought its a good moment to setup PowerShell 7.1 and VS-Code. Learn below how I did it. Chocolatey is software management automation for Windows that wraps installers, executables, zips, and scripts into compiled packages. Chocolatey integrates w/SCCM, Puppet, Chef, etc. Chocolatey is trusted by businesses to manage software deployments. PowerShell Core is a cross-platform automation and configuration tool/framework that works well with your existing tools and is optimized for dealing with structured data (e.g. JSON, CSV, XML, etc.), REST APIs, and object models. It includes a command-line shell, an associated scripting language and a framework for processing cmdlets.
